Today I have a story starter which could be the start of a modern style fairy tale.  You have to read the starter and then plan what might happen in the middle of the story and how it might end.  You can plan any way you choose.  Think of what happens in fairy tales you know and whether the plots s can be adapted and changed to fit the story starter.

Kitty Little was the best footballer in all the land.  It was springtime and the air was full of excitement. Tomorrow, Prince Freddie would be crowned King! Fairyland Village was holding a parade to celebrate his coronation.  Everyone was making special floats for the parade.  The Three Little Pigs were building a float out of straw, wood and bricks.  Hansel and Gretel made their float out of chocolate and sweets.  “My long-lost cousin Prince Castor and his friend Wolf are coming to stay,” said Prince Freddie when he was talking to Kittie Little.  “Prince Castor wants to play in the village football match after the parade.”
