Science - Understanding the circulatory system - 29th November 2016
The class have been amazed by some of the facts that have been found out about our heart and the blood in our body.
- A human body has an average of 5 to 6 litres in it. The children lifted containers with this amount of 'blood' to see how heavy it was.
- If all of the blood vessels in our body were laid out in one length, they would measure about 60,000 miles (or two and a half times around the world).
Ask your children what they have learnt about the human body in Science lessons this term.
