Wylye Coyotes offers high quality, OFSTED registered childcare in our own premises in the grounds of  Wylye Valley School for school aged children (aged 4 - 12). We were rated as “Good” in our last OFSTED inspection in October 2018. Wylye Coyotes is an inclusive club and we are committed to offering equal opportunities to all children. We safeguard and promote the welfare of the children in our care.  We are a social enterprise, and all our profits are re-invested into resources to enrich our setting.

We offer the flexibility for children to attend whenever it suits you – you can book by the half hour, so that you only pay for the childcare that you need. We charge £5.00 per hour for the first child, and £4.00 per hour for additional children from the same family for regular bookings and £5.50/£4.50 per hour for ad hoc bookings.

The Afterschool Club is open from 3pm – 6pm Monday to Thursday. A uniformed member of our staff collects Wylye Valley children from the school hall.  We are set in our own lovely, secure grounds adjacent to the school.  When children come over to us after working hard all day they enjoy a healthy snack and a drink, followed by carefree play with friends from several local schools.  We try to get outdoors as much as possible – making potions in the mud kitchen, climbing the trees and playing on the slide and in the sandpit.  We have a kitchen garden where we grow flowers, fruit and vegetables (the children love picking strawberries and raspberries in the summer), and a woodland play area with our own zip wire.  We have tropical fish and a tortoise which the children help to look after.  We serve a freshly cooked two course meal at 5pm, at an additional cost of £2 per child. 

The Breakfast Club is open every school day from 8-9am. We serve breakfast at an additional cost of 50p per child.

The Holiday Club is open in most school holidays on Monday to Thursday from 8.30am–4.30pm.

We like to take part in all sorts of competitions and challenges to extend the children’s range of experience of the world – previously we have represented Miracle Gro’ers at the Chelsea Flower Show (we have Gold medals!), and won prizes at RHS Wisley for our show gardens.  We have a Gold Award in the Woodland Trust's Green Tree Schools scheme.  In the holidays we organize trips to a wide range of activities from farms to country parks.

Coyote Cubs Toddler Group is open every Wednesday morning during term time from 9–11am. We welcome all parents and carers with children aged 0–4.

Wylye Coyotes runs Codford Community Larder from a re-purposed red telephone box outside our building.  A selection of ambient groceries, bakery products, fruit and vegetables are available to support local families.  We are very grateful for donations from Fareshare, the Community Champion at Morrisons and local households to stock our larder.
